Derek has roughly 25 years of construction experience, but ultimately is a jack of all trades. He began working for a small construction outfit framing houses right out of high school. From there, he went on to become a welder/fabricator of industrial stainless food processing equipment. This led to a position in the Fayetteville Shale Play as an inspector over pipeline and compressor station construction. Along the way, Derek decided to get his degree in construction management, which led him to NWA where he began working in Project Management. He is a fan of basically anything outdoors. If he's not sitting in his kayak, you can catch him working on his overland rig, hiking, or playing golf.
